Cottage Pie
Ingredients
400g of mince beef
600g potatoes ( cook and mash )
1 small onion ( diced )
1 medium carrot ( diced )
1 clove of garlic
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
Parmasan cheese (
grated )
Salt/pepper
Method
Brown off the mince in a hot pan, add the onion, carrot and
garlic, cook for a few minutes.
Blend the chopped tomatoes and add them to the mince, season
to taste.
Place the mixture into a pie dish, boil and mash the
potatoes and spread over the pie, sprinkle with the grated cheese and place in
a pre-heated oven for 25 minutes at 180 degrees C.
Serves 2.
